Inmate Role in Life in Prison

Empty hands, a jumpsuit, and every escape tool that matters.

Inmates

Inmates are the default story. You spawn with a jumpsuit and fists. The court sentenced you to life; the loop is wait or riot. This page is the role sheet. Tactics live in getting started and how to escape. Power ranking lives on teams. You are B-tier until the fence, then you are not an inmate anymore.

Loadout

Nothing. Punch on F, crawl on C, run on Shift — controls. Yard tools: Hammer, Screwdriver, Scissors. Equipping them can paint you hostile so guards stop treating you as cafeteria scenery. Hide the icon until the toilet or the fence. Do not walk the soccer pitch waving a Hammer unless you want a taser speedrun.

Stolen guns and keycards are inmate loot too. They are how riots start. They are also how you die in a doorway. If you just want out, a cutter beats an AWM you will drop climbing.

Win condition

Leave. Methods: tools, people, UFO. Ranked in the escape planner. Crossing the perimeter flips you to Criminal and can grant Escaped. Heaven is a later UFO trick, not an inmate spawn goal.

There are no codes that delete the sentence. Scripts will get you kicked before the tunnel. Gamepasses do not put Swat armor on a jumpsuit at spawn.

Social rules

Ask a cop once. Ask criminals on the wall. Boost a jump. Do not trust a “free Premium if you add me” inmate — that is the scam page wearing orange. Trade bibles at the White Tree only after you are out; you will not walk a Cross through intake.

Read guards so you know what they fear (toilets, fences, AFK doors). Read criminals so you know who might taxi a UFO into the yard. Then pick two escape methods and stop rolling the dice. Orange is a timer. Spend it on a tool.

A full inmate session without dying twice

Spawn, check the hotbar, and walk. If the announcement feels like yard or free time, go benches first. If it feels like a meal, the cafeteria fruit bowl is a bible rumor, not an exit — do not camp it while cops eat. Listen for sirens: T on a police car means a gate or a show-off. Crawl (C) through any gap before you sprint (Shift) into a sightline. Cam-lock is for them, not you, until you steal a gun.

If you die with a Hammer, someone else got your tunnel. Respawn and switch to Scissors or a vent instead of repeating the same toilet. If you die with a keycard, a criminal just got a Taser recipe. Do not farm the same cop. After two deaths, ask in chat once. After three, follow a riot instead of solo heroics. The escape planner exists because stubborn inmates waste the whole server on one camped bathroom.

When you finally leave, you are not an inmate. Do not turn around for a selfie. Loot, fly, or cut toward the tree. If you want the Escaped badge, you already have it. Heaven can wait. The jumpsuit is a countdown, not a fashion. Spend the last of it on a fence, not a fist fight in the soccer grid.

Why the soccer pitch is a trap

It feels safe. It is a rectangle with sightlines from two towers and a door. Cops who cannot find a Hammer inmate look here second. Do not emote. Do not fist-fight for fun until you have a cutter in the pocket. If you came to play soccer, you still need a plan for when the siren hits. Walk the benches on the way in and the fence on the way out. The pitch is a waiting room. Waiting rooms get raided. Leave it as scenery, not as a home.
